Our Depot

Located at Green Fields, South Australia, in close proximity to both the Port Adelaide area and the main arterial freight route of Port Wakefield Road. Our depot is positioned on 3 acres of security fenced land with over 1,000 square metres of undercover storage including an overhead crane. All company trucks are maintained at our Green Fields site workshop, and we are accredited to operate under the Alternative “Compliance Programme for Maintenance Management.” Accreditation number NHVAS 51381.

Verdons Transport employs experienced long distance drivers capable of the professional delivery of any freight throughout Australia.  All drivers are equiped with mobile phones and are easly contactable by our Logistics team.

Vehicles are fitted with fatigue management software which allows for monitoring of drivers and ETA’S

Our fleet consists of over 200 pieces of equipment which is supported by over 35 Kenworth prime movers, our trailer combination of open trailers with tarp and flatbed taut liners ranging from:

Drop decks, Extendenables, Drop Deck Extendables, and Flat-tops, floats, raod trains and B-Doubles 

Workshop

Our workshop operates 7 days a week  and our fully qualified in house diesel mechanics who combined have over 60 years of experience maintain all vehicles we offer vehicle maintenance training to all newly employed drivers, we offer positions to suitably qualified apprentices
